The design of Saffron NOLA is a complex double balancing act. It balances the modern taste of the younger generation of its owner, the Vilkhu family, with the time-honored hospitality background of the older generation. It also takes traditionally Indian characteristics in a modern direction which reflects the fusion inherent to the restaurant’s dynamic food. The result is a space that is beautiful and timeless in palette but fresh and modern in form.

Saffron-inspired art features that play with scale and repetition are an alluring reminder of the restaurant’s namesake.
