Seaside farmhouses serve as architectural inspiration because of their simple structures and light atmosphere. Natural materials such as reclaimed and whitewashed wood make the spaces comfortable and familiar.

John Steinbeck’s stories of everyday men in the Salinas Valley paint a picture of simple, rustic life that resonates with people today. The textures of Steinbeck’s era were weathered, tactile and handmade, and they serve as inspiration for the restaurant design’s patterns and textiles.
